Manufacturers of insulated panel systems and specialised doors for cold rooms, freezer rooms, HVAC air handling units, and Portaspace modular units in regulated industrial environments. Established in 1984 Gridnic is an East London based company, specialising in the manufacture of insulated panels for use in Cold Rooms, Freezer Rooms, Clean Rooms, Air Handling Units (AHU), internal factory offices

and newly introduced Porta Space. Our dedicated team at Gridnic is headed up by the owner Mr Brett Moyes, who is always developing and expanding the range and quality of our products. Our insulated panels can be manufactured to your specific requirements. Insulation mediums include: Polystyrene, Polyurethane and our FM Global Approved Class 1 fire rated Polyphen. Once manufactured, can be used both internally and externally. We have a hands on approach to all aspects of our business, ensuring the best quality, commitment, workmanship and timeous delivery of all our products to ensure that all expectations have been met.

A Gridnic project in progress

We love seeing a project come together, especially when it shows just how versatile our panels can be.

This build is a great example of how Colour Chromadek can completely change the feel of an insulated panel building. Instead of the traditional white finish, the warmer colour creates a much more homely, welcoming feel — proving that insulated panels don't have to look clinical or industrial.

And this is only the beginning. Once the finishes, interiors and landscaping are complete, this space will really show what can be achieved with Gridnic panels.

Today we gathered to say our final goodbye to our colleague and friend, Andrew.

Andrew was a valued member of the Gridnic family, and his passing has left a space that will be felt by all who knew and worked with him. We are grateful for the time we shared with him and the contribution he made to our team.

Our sincere condolences go out to his family, friends and loved ones. May they find strength, comfort and peace in the days ahead.

These aren't brick-and-mortar walls.

We have recently completed this project and are so pleased to share the end result. Most people don't know the true versatility of our product but this project really shows that off.

Each panel coming off the polyurethane press is the result of controlled inputs — material handling, pressure, temperature, and timing — repeated over and over again.

Chromadek skins coming off the decoiler and into the polyurethane press — a routine but critical stage in the panel manufacturing process.

There’s no spectacle here.
Just experienced people, controlled sequences, and materials handled consistently.
