We came across this trailer today with the leaf springs installed backwards.

This is not just an installation issue, it creates a serious safety risk.

The fixed end of the spring should be positioned so that the axle remains properly located. In this installation, the movement is at the front of the spring and towards the vehicle.

If the front section of the spring were to break, the axle would no longer be properly stabilised and could move significantly, potentially causing loss of control of the trailer.

This is why it is important to have suspension work carried out by people who understand how these systems are designed to operate.

Correct spring installation is not only about protecting the vehicle. It is about protecting the driver, passengers and every other family sharing the road.

This role is suited to someone who communicates clearly, pays attention to detail, and is comfortable working with systems and customers in a structured environment.

The role includes:
Assisting customers at the counter
Processing invoices and payments on Sage Accounting
Responding to calls and emails
Requesting quotes from suppliers
Handling sales enquiries

Requirements:
Practical experience using Sage Accounting (invoicing, customer accounts, or similar)
Basic mechanical or automotive awareness
Strong written and verbal communication
Attention to detail and ability to follow processes
Reliable and consistent work ethic

We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, thinks clearly, and is willing to learn and grow within the role.

Important:
This role involves working on Sage Accounting and writing emails to customers and suppliers. If you are not comfortable with this, the position will not be suitable.
