WHERE NEW SKILLS BECOME NEW POSSIBILITIES
Every skill learned today has the potential to create opportunities tomorrow.
The East London IDZ Science & Technology Park (ELIDZ-STP) is currently hosting a five-day (26 to 30 October 2026) skills development programme for unemployed youth at its Science & Technology Park, providing participants with an opportunity to engage with technologies that are increasingly shaping the future of industry and innovation.
Through practical training in Game Development & Animation, Computer-Aided Design (CAD) and Additive Manufacturing (3D Printing), participants are gaining hands-on exposure to digital tools, creative problem-solving approaches and emerging technologies that are transforming the way we work and create.
The programme is more than a training intervention. It is an opportunity for young people to broaden their knowledge, engage with new ideas and develop practical competencies that can support their personal and professional growth.
Upon successful completion, participants will receive certificates recognising their commitment to learning and skills development.
Through initiatives such as these, ELIDZ-STP continues to foster innovation, strengthen digital capabilities and create meaningful opportunities that empower young people to participate in the economy of the future.
