🇿🇦 BUILT IN SOUTH AFRICA. PROUD OF OUR HERITAGE. BUILDING THE FUTURE.

Heritage is more than where we come from.

It’s the people who built with us, the lessons we’ve carried, the skills we’ve developed, the communities we’ve served — and the work we continue to do every day.

This Heritage Month, we’re looking back at the story behind Fabricon: the early days, the projects, the people, the progress and the moments that have shaped who we are today.

From Fabricon Holdings and Fabricon Plant Hire , to Kim’s Training Academy , Koum Projects and The Bay Lodge , each part of our Group carries a piece of that story.

Over the month of September, we’ll be sharing that journey — honouring where we started, celebrating the people behind the years, and looking forward to what we are still building.

Our heritage is what built us.
Our people are what carry it forward. 🇿🇦

As Women’s Month comes to a close, the conversation doesn’t. 💙

Throughout August, we’ve used our platforms to celebrate the women behind Fabricon and the industries we serve — but also to have important conversations about what it means to be a woman in spaces that have traditionally been male-dominated.

We’ve spoken about showing up with confidence, finding your voice, leading with strength and professionalism, creating opportunities for the women coming behind us, and recognising the value women bring to our workplaces, communities and industries.

We’ve reflected on how far women have come, while also asking an important question:

What do we want the future to look like?

A future where women don’t simply have a seat at the table, but are recognised for their competence, contribution and leadership.

A future where young women can enter engineering, construction, skills development, hospitality and community development knowing that there is space for them to grow, lead and excel.

And ultimately, a future that isn’t built by women alone or men alone — but by capable people working together with mutual respect, equal opportunity and a shared commitment to excellence.

Women’s Month may be over, but the responsibility to create that future continues every day.

To the women of Fabricon: thank you for the work you do, the standards you set and the example you leave for those coming behind you.

Here’s to continuing to build, lead and create space for the next generation. 💙

Women’s Month | The Hidden Weight Women Carry

Not every responsibility shows up on a job description.

For many women, the working day exists alongside leadership, motherhood, family, relationships, planning, problem-solving and the mental load of remembering what everyone else may forget.

And yet, they still arrive.
They lead. They contribute. They make decisions. They get the job done.

This Women’s Month, we’re reminded that creating stronger workplaces isn’t only about recognising what people do — it’s also about recognising what they may be carrying while they do it.

At Fabricon, we believe strength and leadership can look different on everyone. Sometimes, one of the most powerful things we can offer each other is simply understanding.

See the person. Value the contribution. Recognise what isn’t always visible.

Women are not only part of our industries — they are helping shape their future. 👷🏽‍♀️💪🏽

As we continue celebrating Women’s Month at Fabricon, we asked the women within our team a simple question: What strengths do women bring to the industries we work in?

From engineering and project management to skilled trades, training, hospitality and community development, women bring resilience, perspective, leadership, attention to detail and the ability to bring people together.

Different industries. Different roles. Different strengths.
But one thing remains the same — women continue helping build stronger businesses, stronger communities and stronger futures.

This Women’s Month, we celebrate the women who lead, build, teach, manage, create and make an impact every day. 🇿🇦

Here’s to the women helping build the future of Fabricon.

What does Fabricon actually do? ⚙️💙

The answer goes far beyond steel and fabrication.

At Fabricon Pipe & Labour Hire, we provide end-to-end engineering and project solutions across some of South Africa’s most demanding industrial environments.

From engineering, fabrication and piping to construction, shutdowns, maintenance, marine projects and specialised labour hire — our capabilities are built around one objective: delivering the right solution for the project.

But behind every service is something even more important: our people.

Skilled artisans. Engineers. Supervisors. Project teams. People who understand the environment, the pressure and the responsibility that comes with getting the job done safely and effectively.

Because at Fabricon, we don’t simply build steel structures.

WE BUILD SOLUTIONS.

Today, we celebrate women — in all the roles they carry. 💙

The women building careers and businesses.
The women building homes and raising families.
The working mums balancing meetings, deadlines, school runs and everything in between.
The mothers, daughters, sisters, wives, caregivers, mentors and friends.

The women working on our sites, in our workshops and offices.
The women leading teams, supporting operations and creating opportunities.
And the women whose work may never come with a title, but whose impact is felt every single day.

At Fabricon, we know that building a stronger future goes beyond the work we do. It’s about people. It’s about families. It’s about communities.

Today, we honour the women within the Fabricon family, across our industry and throughout our communities — as well as the women who came before us and helped create the opportunities we have today.

To every woman carrying more than the world may ever see: we see you, we value you and we celebrate you.

May we continue creating a future where women are supported, respected and given the opportunity to thrive — whatever their role may look like.

Happy Women’s Day, South Africa. 🇿🇦💙
