The installation of every Yacht Dapper® storage holder, using our Quad Window Storage Holder as an example:

1️⃣ Position your product stencil:
Place the supplied product backplate stencil onto your bulkhead/door’s backboard template
2️⃣ Mark your holes:
Use a centre punch to carefully mark your drill points, where your female clips will be installed
3️⃣ Drill with precision:
Work your way up to a 10mm pilot hole, then enlarge to 16.8mm using our YD Drill bit (available on our website)
4️⃣ Fit your clips:
Using our YD Tapping bit, with light pressure insert your female clips into the prepared holes, proceed to insert your male clips into the product’s backplate by hand
5️⃣ Install your product:
Proceed to install your YD storage holder by tapping the clips fully into place

‼️ Precision is essential ‼️ When using the product stencil provided within each product’s box, carefully mark each drill point accurately.

When drilling, gradually increase the drill bit size until reaching a 10 mm pilot hole, thereafter using our YD Drill Bit.

This all ensures the female and male clips align perfectly for a secure, with a glove-like fit 🛥️
