It's really sad that South Africa has not embarked with this initiative whole heartedly, specially when The Archbishop Desmond Tutu was made an ambassador in New York during the launch back in 2010. I pledge that all South Africans stand up and make this campaign worth our while for the safety of all road users in our beautiful country.

The A-Bottle , hence the shape of the warning device, was born in 2008 . Ironically , somehow this article was published during August 2010 in the local KwaZulu-Natal newspaper - The Daily News , some time way after 'The A-bottle' was thought of. The opportunity presented itself to improve on the current warning triangles , by designing and developing a Warning Triangle in the form of a bottle that would be more robust , sturdy and to have more than one practical usages that could assist road users during any kind of emergency roadside assistance during a time in need. This device when brimful can weigh up to 3.6Kg making it a very sturdy and solid warning triangular device.
