All brake discs and drums are engineered to SAE metallurgical standards and meet OE specifications for weight, configuration, and tolerances delivering the best performance in the market. All castings are x-ray tested and checked for blow holes in a testing laboratory before entering production in the CNC machine shop. The drum casting metallurgy structure offers superior strength and heat dissipation, thus, leading to better resistance against heat cracking. This also improves braking performance and delivers improved durability and wear resistance. The exact casting process produces a drum with equal wall thickness giving even brake stress distribution and providing a uniform thermal expansion to minimize brake judder and vibration.

Eurospec is a fully moulded rigid block developed to meet the braking requirement of the , and large passenger carrying vehicles with axle weights between 9000/11000kgs. The attributes of this development is that it has a stable coefficient of friction between temperatures of 100cc to350cc in the range of0.9 to 0.30. The life of Eurospec is such that replacement is not necessary between annual vehicle assessment checks. What makes this such a unique product is that it focusses on comfort, zero noise and judder. There is a minimum of damage as the material has an excellent operating life, meaning that there is little or no scoring, heat spotting and crackling. These attributes are dependent on regular and complete maintenance/ servicing of the brake and its components.
Eurospec is formulated without any asbestos. The compound consists of a binder system, friction modifiers and fillers. These materials are mixed together in a high speed mixer, moulded under pressure and high temperature and followed by oven treatment to fully stabilise thermally all ingredients and dimensions.
Matching of each block is carried out to the design parameters as laid down by the brake manufacturer. The product design is uniquely South African.
