Pressure and flow are not the same thing.

In hydraulic systems, pressure provides force, while flow provides speed — and getting both right is essential for reliable performance.

A system with adequate pressure but insufficient flow may deliver the required pull, but operate too slowly. High flow without proper cooling can lead to excessive heat during longer operating periods.

That’s why factors such as return-line pressure, filtration, pipe sizing and oil temperature all matter.
