We were proud to partner with Balance Catamarans and Nexus Yachts/Balance Catamarans on the Balance 580 ‘Swann’, supplying and manufacturing our new, larger carbon furling boom — designed for performance, reliability, and effortless sail handling on true bluewater passages.

This footage from her final sea trials highlights the boom in action, integrated into a complete rig package by Sparcraft Masts, including the mast, standing and running rigging, crossbeam, longeron with integrated anchor launch system, as well as Profurl electric genoa and staysail furlers and a Facnor electric screecher furler.

The beautiful Balance 580, Swann, safely in France at the end of her maiden intercontinental voyage, showing off her larger Furlcraft carbon furling boom.

Swann, our second Balance 580, is docked safely in Canet Marina, France!
After an epic 7,350 nautical mile journey taking 42 days from Cape Town to Canet-en-Roussillon, she’s arrived in the Med! Swann will be at the Cannes Yachting Festival September 9th to the 14th.
