HDPE CAPABILITY & CAPACITY

Over the years, we have steadily invested in building JJAD’s HDPE welding and fabrication capability.

Today, that investment has grown into a company-owned fleet of 33 thermoplastic welding machines, including 17 HDPE butt-fusion machines.
Among these are 4 × 630mm butt-fusion machines, giving us substantial capacity for large-bore HDPE installations and the ability to deploy multiple welding teams simultaneously.

Our in-house capabilities include:
• HDPE Butt Fusion – up to 630mm
• Electrofusion – up to 1000mm
• Socket, Extrusion & Hot-Air Welding
• CNC plastic cutting and fabrication
• Large stockholding of HDPE pipe, fittings and associated components

This capacity allows us to support multiple projects and respond quickly to both planned and urgent requirements, from workshop fabrication through to site installation and testing.

JJAD supports HDPE installations across water and wastewater treatment, desalination, mining and industrial process applications.

We will continue investing in the equipment, people and capabilities required to support increasingly complex projects throughout South Africa and beyond.

The JJAD team recently completed the expansion of a sewage treatment plant at a copper mine in Botswana, supporting the mine’s growing infrastructure and wastewater treatment requirements.

Our scope included the mechanical installation and piping works associated with the plant expansion, with our team working on site to deliver a reliable and professional installation in a demanding mining environment.
