Our finger jointing machine significantly reduces wasted offcuts by turning them into usable timber products while at the same time, increasing production capacity. Our skilled laminating division uses our range of laminating machines with specialist glues to manufacture laminated beams and posts, shelving and countertops, balustrading and stair treads. Our long-serving manufacturing staff are well versed in the language of timber and check each piece of wood that has been trimmed, cut, planed, moulded, preserved and treated to ensure it meets the Somerset Timbers standard.

Following the damage caused by the May floods, Aqua Deck Construction has been hard at work rebuilding multiple decks and jetties that were damaged or washed away along the Breede River.

From the structure underneath to the finishing touches on top.

This impressive deck and carport project in Betty's Bay brought together a range of Somerset Timbers products.

The frame was constructed using 50x228mm SABS H3 treated Pine, supplied in lengths ranging from 3.0m all the way up to 6.6m. The deck was finished with 19x140mm Garapa decking, complemented by 20x70mm Red Grandis posts and secured using our trusted A4 Stainless Steel Deck Screws.

All supplied and delivered by Somerset Timbers.
