The company was founded in April 2015, by Tim Smith & Erika Smith who have 34 combined years of experience in the construction consultancy field of quantity surveying. P

reviously, Tim was the Business Line Lead for quantity surveying at Aecom SA (PTY) Ltd, heading up 3 QS offices in the Western Cape and leading a staff contingent of 52. Tim joined the then Farrow Laing Ntene in 2000 as a candidate quantity surveyor and grew within the company to associate, local director and ultimately heading up the regional business unit. During this time the company evolved from a national partnership (Farrow Laing Ntene) to an international partnership (Davis Langdon) to its current status as the world’s largest multidisciplinary construction consultancy (Aecom). Erika was formerly an executive at Aecom in Cape Town and prior to that at D’Arcy Hedding. Erika has proven capable of delivering large and complex projects within budget and motivating teams for excellence. The directors are supported initially by Marwaan Daniels (11 years’ experience), Mario Penso (5.5 years’ experience), UCT Graduates John Barnett (1.5 years experience) and Ayesha Govender.
