🎉Minus40 Unveils New Vaccine Fridge at Exclusive Alpha Pharm Exhibition🎉

On Saturday, 7th September, Minus40 had the privilege of participating in the exclusive Alpha Pharm Exhibition at Grand West Casino, an event open only to registered vendors who supply the Alpha Pharm group.

We showcased some of our most advanced refrigeration solutions, including our MED75GHD and MED400GHD Medical Fridges. However, the highlight of the event was the debut of our brand-new B70/220H Vaccine Fridge, designed for environments with limited space. This compact, under-counter fridge features an impressive 47-hour holdover time and was unveiled to the public for the very first time at the event. We’re excited to officially launch it on our website soon!🚀

We also demonstrated our Vaccine Cooler Boxes, featuring one mounted on the back of a scooter to show how easily they can be used to transport medicines.🛵 This practical display caught the attention of many attendees, showcasing the versatility of our cooler boxes in secure medical transportation.

🌍 Reflecting on a Major Milestone for Minus40! 🌍

As we look back on our journey, we're proud to highlight a significant project that has made a lasting impact. Six months ago, we had the privilege of delivering and installing 18 state-of-the-art mortuary cabinets at Muhimbili National Hospital in Tanzania, in collaboration with a local partner.

This project included:
* 15 x 6-tier mortuary cabinets
* 3 x 3-tier mortuary cabinets
* 2 x mortuary trolleys

To ensure everything was done to our exacting standards, one of our dedicated team members traveled to Tanzania to oversee the installation and provide comprehensive training.

Seeing our work featured on Manara TV in Tanzania was a proud moment for our team, underscoring our commitment to quality and excellence in healthcare solutions.

Thank you to everyone who played a part in this achievement. Here’s to many more milestones ahead!

This week, we’re delighted to shine the spotlight on Talia Bente, our extraordinary Service Assistant at Minus40. Since joining us in 2019, Talia has become an indispensable part of our service department. Often the first person our customers interact with, Talia's warm demeanour and unwavering dedication create a welcoming and positive experience for everyone.

Talia plays a crucial role in supporting our Service Manager and is an essential member of our tight-knit, three-person Service admin team. Her tireless work ethic ensures our operations run seamlessly, allowing us to provide the exceptional service our customers expect.

Outside of work, Talia enjoys immersing herself in a good book, listening to music, and indulging in reality TV shows. Her diverse interests and infectious positive attitude make her not just a wonderful colleague but a cherished friend to many of us here at Minus40.

Today, we honour the bravery and resilience of the youth who courageously advocated for a brighter tomorrow during the struggle against apartheid.

As we commemorate their sacrifices, let's acknowledge the hurdles facing our youth today: unemployment, educational barriers, and limited opportunities. It's our collective responsibility to empower and invest in our youth, providing them with the tools and support needed to flourish.
