​If you’ve been following the news about the March 2026 Eskom Solar Deadline, you might be feeling more "shocked" than "powered up." Between threats of R6,000 fines and "forced" registrations, many South Africans are putting their solar dreams on hold.

​Technically, yes. NERSA and Eskom require all grid-tied systems (even those that don’t feed back) to be registered. ​2. What is the March 2026 Deadline?
​This is actually a concession window. Until 31 March 2026, Eskom is:
