It is with gratitude and sadness that The DiveCo Marine Team say goodbye (for now) to our exceptional Graduate Engineer Aarsha Nandana. Aarsha joined the Marine Civils division from the Employability & Apprenticeships - University of Greenwich she has excelled in every task given to her, forming great working relationships, continuing to learn and develop within the engineering field and company. Aarsha has become a great team asset and invaluable addition to DiveCo.

We will miss her professionalism, dedication and smile, but we all wish her the very best in her final year at Greenwich University, it has been an absolute pleasure working with you, thank you for all your help and hard work.

The DiveCo Marine Civils Division have carried out and completed the supply and installation of predrilled timber rubbing strips and timber fenders with steel saddle brackets, a removable steel boarding ladder and dockside stairway concrete repairs – including steel reinforcement.

The work was carried out by a five-marine operative team in a marine environment, working from a modular crane pontoon system accompanied by a work/safety vessel, a telehandler was also used for site operations.

Together the team completed the work safely, effectively, sustainably and on time.

DiveCo Marine’s dive teams were recently deployed for a coastal project in the South of the UK.
DiveCo has been tasked with assisting with the installation and positioning of an 800m outfall pipeline, with diffuser and concrete protection dome. The diving works utilises 2 working divers as part of a larger marine team. The project is still ongoing and expected to be completed safely, on time and budget.

During the works the Dive team were also able to undertake a stretcher drill with a dive chamber.

DiveCo Marine attended a sunny Seawork Southampton. The event was a fantastic chance to meet up with industry colleagues, build new relationships and bump into old friends, it was great to see all the new developments in commercial marine.

The DiveCo Marine Team were thrilled to be nominated for two awards at the Employability & Apprenticeships - University of Greenwich ceremony. Our Graduate Engineer Aarsha Nandana was shortlisted for the Work Based Learning Award and DiveCo Marine for the Outstanding Placement Provider Award.

Aarsha has been an incredible addition to DiveCo and her relationship within the Marine Civils Team has proven to be invaluable and recognises the importance of mentoring and the impact that graduates have in industry.

DiveCo were honoured to attend the stunning Greenwich University and congratulations to all who were nominated.

In line with DiveCo Marine’s continued commitment to training, high standards and health and safety one of our crew’s recently undertook an emergency rescue drill. In all our areas of operation our crews need to be prepared, planned and practised.

The focus of this drill was to swiftly and accurately evaluate the situation whilst demonstrating best practice techniques, using the correct equipment to rescue a casualty.

Christina from our Compliance Team was fortunate to be invited to attend a “Quality” Continuing Professional Development Day at the TEAM2100 Head Office hosted by Dan Jacobs – Assurance and Quality Lead.

The day was set out to cover the main topics that a Quality Person may need in a business.
This included:
🔹 Demonstrating the ability to apply a quality management system within your area of work
🔹 Describing the key elements of the quality management system for your project or business role
🔹 Providing evidence of applying quality management systems in your role: With reference to Project/Framework Ex*****on Plans, Input Statements, Operational Project Reviews, Quality Audits.

The day was insightful, interactive and fun, including a lovely lunch and chance to get to know some of the bright minds behind TEAM2100. Many thanks to Dan and the team for being so welcoming and inclusive.
