The DA60N is a complete stabilized infrared pod that weighs roughly 200 g all-in, about half the 300 g-plus typical for stabilized micro EO/IR gimbals with tracking, so small multirotors keep their flight time when it goes aboard; the whole package fits a Φ70 × 67.9 mm metal housing. It also survives launches few gimbals can: rated for ≥400 g of launch shock, a figure most competitors never even publish, it is built for catapult-launched airframes. The integrated tracking module locks onto vehicles and people at ≥40°/s, well above the 20-30°/s common in tracking modules this size. 0.1 mrad stabilization, six-plus thermal palettes, picture-in-picture, H.264/H.265 over Ethernet, TTL/RS232/S.BUS control, ≤15 W draw and -20°C to +55°C operation round out the package. Its natural deployment: night surveillance and public-security patrol from catapult-launched small UAVs.
