A few months ago, Scotty Firefighter had the great honor be approached by The Town of Sidney, and the Sidney Fire Department to participate in a program to supply the municipality with clean, portable drinking water in the event of an emergency.

Sidney has provided a home to our manufacturing plant since 2000, so we were grateful for the opportunity to give a little back to the community that's been so kind to us.

In cooperation with the amazing staff at the Sidney Fire Department, Scotty procured 25,000 custom-printed bags for the city to fill and distribute to residents should the need arise.

We can't thank the Sidney Fire Department and the Town of Sidney enough for all they do to keep our community not just safe, but thriving. It's an absolutely beautiful part of Canada, with wonderful people, and we feel incredibly fortunate to live and do business here.

A couple weeks ago, we had the enormous privilege of visiting Victoria International Airport Fire Service team to do a little location scouting for some upcoming photo and video projects.

Although we managed to keep ourselves together, it was a challenge not to completely nerd-out over all the cool firefighting gear and vehicles they had at their airfield headquarters-- an impulse that was only magnified when they took us for a a ride in their firetrucks to their adjacent training facility.

It was an absolute treat for all of us to spend a bit of time with firefighters Jay and Jeff, as they graciously showed us around, answered questions, and even let us test out our All-In-One-Rescue-Wrench on an unsuspecting mini-van.

We're incredibly grateful and honored that Victoria International Airport Fire Service shared a little insight into what they do, and we're doubly-excited about the prospects of creating some awesome photo and video content with them in the near future!
