Last week, I took the bronze at the local 25k!!! 🥉

Jupiter Peak still has me walking funny. 3300 ft ⬆️ + 3300ft ⬇️⛰️

I'm pleased with my performance. And, I'm excited to keep building capacity...once I absorb this stimulus.

This is a great time of year to be a Podiatrist. Many patients are coming in excited about their upcoming races. They inspire me to show up at start lines as well!

The most common injuries rolling in are plantar fasciitis, and various tendinopathies. Occasionally a bone stress injury derails a training plan. But most injuries do not require full rest.

If you are dealing with foot or ankle pain, a proper diagnosis and treatment plan can alleviate anxiety. We can also get you back on track faster than home remedies and vague suggestions from ChatGPT.

Strategies as simple as shockwave therapy, isometrics, anti-inflammatories, and active release techniques can keep patients moving towards their goals.

If you are currently injured, just text 385-770-7203 for an appointment.

Final Kick Ankle & Foot Clinic continues to win Best of SLC!!!🥇

This business venture has proceeded well since 2017. At one time, most of my colleagues advised me against starting a practice from scratch. And perhaps such a pursuit could be impossible. For them.

But I have more faith than fear when it comes to the abyss.

When I moved back to SLC in 2017, I had an empty patient schedule. I did not have former patients that I could draw from establishments that I had previously worked for. I did not have a large social media following. Working capital was meager. Overhead costs had already accumulated before the official launch date. To this day I am not sure how the clinic gained traction during that first year.

Nevertheless, I had the foresight to create an exceptionally unique healthcare experience for each patient who walked through our doors. Those patients referred others. And collectively, every patient built a sustainable critical mass.

I must acknowledge everyone who has supported Final Kick Ankle & Foot Clinic throughout these years. Together we built a clinic that has outperformed every major hospital's, and multi-specialty group's, podiatry sector in Salt Lake City.

Let's keep winning!! ❤️

I’ve had the most pleasurable summer of training and racing. Yesterday’s race didn’t go as planned. But the photos are so darn cute that I can’t even be mad about it.

I made a couple mistakes. I knew better than to spend 90 minutes shivering in a space blanket before the race. And I knew better than to wear a newly released pair of super shoes that I had yet to train in.

But it was still a great effort.

The AI performance recap on the last slide sums up the race better than I could 😂

I am unemployable, so I must perform extremely well—nearly every single day.

Final Kick Ankle & Foot Clinic was once again voted Best of Salt Lake City 👊🏻🥇

We have unwavering gratitude to everyone who continues to trust our clinic.

We are only getting better.

I worked my way through flight school, while being a single mom to Sparkle.

On Friday I got a window of good weather in the afternoon to get it done. I am very pleased with my checkride performance. The additional training made all the difference.

When I impulsively signed up for flight school 2 years ago, I had no idea what getting a license would entail. It required a level of endurance that I had to develop along the way. I did not have a well defined “why”. I was just seeking a different buzz from the monotony of sagittal plane endurance sports. Through the process, I discovered a realm that I never knew existed within, and around me.

Thanks to all the incredible CFIs , especially Sam.

Also shoutout to who has the best mock checkrides on YouTube

I could live the last few months of my life on repeat.

But I also know, it’s gonna get so much better.

Final Kick Ankle & Foot was voted Salt Lake City’s top Podiatrist!!🥇

This win was truly special. Thanks to everyone who has supported my clinic ❤️

I passed my FAA Knowledge Exam!!!

If I knew how much of a time investment flight school would be, I probably never would have started. But that can be said about anything.

I love what I am becoming through this process. And nothing can parallel the buzz I get from flying.

Up next: more hours in the air, and check ride prep!!
