Blackshear Stockyard Blackshear Stockyard, a weekly (Saturday) auction of livestock,(ie. cattle, donkeys, goats, feeder pigs, rabbits & chickens). Drop off 7 am. Auction 1pm

Blackshear Stockyard began having regular Saturday Livestock auctions on July 11, 2015. Drop off begins at 7am, auction begins at 1pm. Auction arena is air conditioned, spacious, with wooden, tiered. stadium seating. It is a family atmosphere, where children of all ages are welcome, from youngens to young at hearts. Local vendors are welcome to set up a space for a low fee of $10 per sale date. Local produce, yard sales, and farm equipment are a few of the regular vendors, as well as a snack shop, offering canned drinks, bagged chips, and sweets.
