🐕 Rest in Peace K9 Waro. 😞

Waro was shot and killed in the line of duty while trying to apprehend a suspect. Thoughts and prayers with all involved.

K9 Waro was a two-year-old male German shepherd that was born in Slovakia and was trained in patrol and detection through Tarheel Canine prior to being paired with his Handler. He worked for Clayton County Police.

*Any donations made in his honor will go towards putting his name on our In the Line of Duty Death K9 Memorial* donations made after that is covered will go towards our mission efforts.

Thank you for your brave service, god bless you hero !!!

It is with great sadness that we announce Kane County Sheriff’s Office’s Officer Hudson was tragically killed in the line of duty yesterday.

A carjacking in Geneva, IL led deputies on a pursuit, and Hudson was deployed to subdue the driver. Ultimately, the pursuit ended in an exchange of gunfire between deputies and the offender, and Hudson was shot. The offender was also killed during the incident.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to K9 Officer Hudson’s handler along with his brothers and sisters in blue in Kane County, IL. Thank you for your service, Hudson. Rest in peace.

KCPD Officer James Muhlbauer, with 20 years of service, and K9 Officer Champ, served one year.

These partners were killed in the line of duty Wednesday night when a vehicle crashed into them while they were on patrol.

May they rest in peace knowing they served the people of Kansas City Missouri til the very end.

Once again, we extend our condolences to the family, K9 Unit and department.

"A Swatara police officer was called to the Capital Diner this morning. An elderly man couldn't pay for his breakfast; he tried but his card was declined. He panicked and actually called the police on himself because he didn't know what to do. The restaurant gave him his space to figure it out and that was the best solution he could come up with. Officer Anthony Glass went to the counter, pulled out his credit card, and paid for the man's breakfast. The man asked for his phone number so he could pay him back but the officer kindly declined. This young man deserves to be recognized."
