Did the first batch of production Stepside Tailgate Latch’s just arrive? Yes, yes they did and happy to report the changes made since prototyping have only made it better. After surface prepping and respective finishes, this batch is going to all the preorders with a few going on to stock!

It’s all coming together now! Just waiting on the stars of the show, the billet machined pieces to be finished up. Tentative ship date on the first batch is the first week of August!

First batch of latch cages and pins off to media blasting and Cerakoting!

The creation of one of our latch pins. First we start with four laser cut .120 steel pieces which are then TIG welded together to create the pin cage. The cage is the dressed, counter sunk for the mounting bolts and Cerakoted (not pictured). The final piece is created by adding the spring and pin assembly. All welded, assembled, and coated in North Carolina!
