Last day of winter is a good checkpoint for fuel sites.

Cold mornings, wet yards, shorter days, and harder access all make manual fuel management harder than it needs to be.

If tank levels, dispensing records, user access, and reporting are still being handled separately, winter usually finds the gaps.

Everlink helps bring those parts together through connected hardware and Clarity, giving operators better visibility across tanks, fuel movement, alerts, and records.

The goal is not to make fuel management complicated.

It's to make the important parts easier to see before they become another job for someone to chase.

There is a lot of ordinary fuel work behind major infrastructure.

Rail yards, ports, depots, and service fleets all rely on fuel being available, controlled, and properly recorded.

This Everlink fuel management system helps manage dispensing at the fuel point, so access, usage, and transaction records are not left sitting outside the wider operation.

The big operation is what people notice.

The fuel point beside it is one of the smaller links helping the site keep moving.

A well-managed fuel point is not just about the tank.

This Australian setup shows the practical pieces coming together: tank storage, dispensing, lighting, spill response nearby, and Everlink MICRO controlling access at the fuel point.

The AFM helps manage who can dispense fuel, what is taken, and how that transaction is recorded through the wider system.

That gives the operation more than a place to store fuel. It creates a fuel point that can be controlled, reported on, and managed as part of the day-to-day workflow.

Good site infrastructure gives people somewhere to work.

Connected fuel management shows what is happening once the nozzle comes off the hook.

Two identical solar systems can perform very differently in winter.

Shorter days and lower sun angles reduce solar generation. Trees, buildings and even partial shade can reduce it further. Meanwhile, a busy fuel site continues drawing power with every transaction.

That’s why solar isn’t one-size-fits-all. Each system should be specified around:

- Peak transaction volume and dispensing time
- Site location, panel direction and winter shade
- Battery capacity for consecutive low-generation days
- Seasonal increases in site activity
- Future growth or relocation of the tank

The panel generates the energy. The battery stores it. Both need to be sized together for the site’s most demanding period and poorest month of sunlight; not simply its average day.

When correctly matched to the site, solar provides a practical and dependable way to power connected fuel management systems throughout the year.

Our CEO; Dean Welten is down in Christchurch this week and sent this through from Lyttelton Port.

Those of us in the North Island were just starting to complain about the cold snap coming through tomorrow.

Then this arrived.

A decent reminder that fuel sites, ports, yards, depots, and infrastructure work do not get to wait for perfect weather.

That is why Everlink systems are built for real site conditions; not just clean installs, clear skies, and comfortable mornings.

Rain, cold, heat, dust, or the odd snowy backdrop, the job is still the same: keep fuel controlled, visible, and properly recorded.

A strong setup from A-FLO Equipment, our Australian distributor.

This Fueltainer is a good example of how Everlink fuel management can be built directly into practical site equipment from the start.

With Everlink AFM fitted to the tank, dispensing can be controlled, access can be managed, and fuel records can connect back through the wider system.

That is where A-FLO do a great job for the Australian market; building fuel solutions that suit the way sites actually operate, then pairing them with the right control and reporting tools.

Proud to have A-FLO representing Everlink across Australia.

Portable fuel does not have to mean loose fuel records.

A trailer-mounted tank like this can follow the work, but the same questions still apply: who accessed the fuel, what was dispensed, and where did it go?

With Everlink fuel management fitted to the tank, controlled dispensing and transaction records can move with the fuel point.

That gives operators a practical way to manage fuel on jobs, yards, remote sites, or temporary setups without relying entirely on paper notes or memory.

If the tank moves with the operation, the fuel data should be able to follow it.

Construction sites move, change, and disappear.

But while they are active, the machinery still needs fuel and fluids available on site.

This Everlink solar Tank Gauge helps turn a temporary storage point; even something as simple as an IBC - into a connected asset.

Level data can be monitored without running mains power to the tank, helping the operation keep an eye on what is available and when it may need attention.

For sites where the work keeps shifting, the tank can still report back.

Some product decisions are easier to make when you have actually installed the product yourself.

This is Everlink’s CEO on the tools, working through an install and commissioning process in the field.

That closeness to the work is part of how our product set has developed. The people making decisions are not sitting completely separate from the hardware, the site conditions, or the customers using the systems.

New products are not just drawn up, discussed, and handed over.

They are tested, installed, adjusted, and understood in the environment they are built for.

That gives Everlink a clearer line from idea to real-world use; and helps keep the product grounded in what sites actually need.

Not every tank sits somewhere convenient.

This Everlink solar Tank Gauge can operate independently from the power grid, making it useful for sites where running power to the tank is not practical.

That means level data can still be captured from the tank and brought back into the wider fuel management system.

For remote sites, temporary works, yards, farms, or fuel points away from existing infrastructure, that visibility changes the way stock is managed.

The tank doesn't need to be easy to reach for the operation to know what is happening.
