🎬 BARCO x VISCO | Strengthening Our Cinema Technology Expertise
As part of our continued partnership with Barco, the VISCO technical team recently participated in an intensive technical training session focusing on Barco’s latest Series 4 laser cinema projection technologies.
The training provided our engineers with both fundamental knowledge and hands-on technical experience on the Barco SP2K-9S laser cinema projector, including:
🔹 Fundamentals and architecture of digital cinema projection systems
🔹 Internal projector components and laser light-source modules
🔹 Installation, configuration and system setup
🔹 Projector alignment, operation and performance optimization
🔹 Preventive maintenance and service procedures
🔹 Practical troubleshooting and fault diagnosis
The team also explored the Barco mFusion ICMP-XS Integrated Cinema Media Processor, an integrated platform combining cinema media server, audio processing and streaming capabilities, helping simplify cinema system architecture and operation.
Through this training, VISCO’s engineers further strengthened their ability to understand the complete cinema projection system — from installation and commissioning to maintenance and troubleshooting.
