🌿 Sharing Insights from Chennai!
Advancing nature‑based and blue‑green infrastructure solutions under the KfW‑funded SMIF‑TN Phase III project with Spatial Decisions and C2S2 for TNUIFSL, Berim contributed global case studies during the workshops held on 6 and 9 February 2026 in Chennai, India.
These sessions brought together institutions and experts to explore how NBS can enhance climate resilience, urban livability, and the integration of green‑grey systems in rapidly growing cities.

In November 2025, Berim is honoured to have hosted a Vietnamese Delegation from the Housing and Urban Development Corporation (HUD) under the Ministry of Construction of Vietnam.
The visit began with a warm reception at our headquarters in Paris, followed by a tour of "Les Lumières Pleyel" construction site in Saint-Denis, a real estate complex featuring three buildings with 189 housing units and business premises.
This visit is a wonderful opportunity to strengthen our international partnerships by showcasing our sustainable housing projects and exploring new avenues for collaboration. A warm welcome to our Vietnamese partners, and we look forward to continuing our dialogue together!

During the week of October 13-17, 2025, Berim organized the third workshop in Thanh Hoa as part of the Climate-Resilient Urban Infrastructure in North-Central Vietnam (CRUIV) project, funded by the EU Water and Natural Resources Management (WARM) Facility and managed by the French Development Agency (AFD). This important event brought together local authorities from 4 Provinces (Ninh Binh, Thanh Hoa, Nghe An, and Ha Tinh), community members, and our experts to discuss the project's progress and strategies to improve wastewater collection in 5 communes (Phat Diem, Ngoc Lac, Hoang Mai, Hương Khe, and Thach Ha).

The workshop facilitated group discussions among participants, enabling a better understanding of the issues faced by stakeholders. Our experts conducted an on-the-ground household surveys to examine connection options to the sewage pipeline on 4 pilot streets.

Following the workshop, three days of training were provided to local management agencies to explore technical and institutional issues in greater depth, accompanied by a concrete site visit.

A workshop was held in Hoa Binh City focusing on the design summary and environmental and social discussions for our "Feasibility Study for Hoa Binh Climate Change Adaptation Development Project." This significant event brought together local authorities, community members, and our experts to discuss strategies for enhancing the region's resilience to climate change.

The workshop aimed to present the findings of the feasibility study and gather feedback from participants on the proposed design and implementation strategies. In the workshop, we shared insights and propose solutions that align with the community’s goals. Special emphasis was placed on ensuring that the needs and concerns of local communities are addressed in the project planning process.

We also took this opportunities to have site survey at the project areas. The insights gained from this event will be instrumental in shaping the next steps of the project and ensuring its successful implementation.
