Trúc Lâm Chính Pháp Zen Monastery (Thiền viện Trúc Lâm Chính Pháp Tuyên Quang) is a Zen monastery belonging to the Vietnamese Trúc Lâm (Bamboo Grove) Zen sect, located in Tuyên Quang Province in northern Vietnam.

Situated on vast grounds surrounded by lush, mountainous nature, it serves not only as a place for spiritual practice but also as a popular destination for Buddhists and tourists seeking a peaceful place to pray and calm their minds.

**Key Features and Highlights**

**Giant Statue of Shakyamuni Buddha:** Standing approximately 18 meters tall at the highest point of the Tam Bảo Hall (Tòa Tam Bảo), this statue of Shakyamuni Buddha is the monastery's iconic landmark. Depicted in a serene posture holding a lotus flower, it imbues the expansive grounds with a sacred atmosphere.

**Architecture Blending Tradition and Modernity:** The Tam Bảo Hall features a three-level structure comprising an assembly hall, a meditation hall, and an outdoor worship plaza. Additionally, the main gate (Cổng Tam Quan) is designed with the Huệ Quang Tower of Yên Tử Mountain as its motif.

**Spirit of the Trúc Lâm Zen Sect:** The monastery upholds the teachings of the Trúc Lâm Zen sect—a uniquely Vietnamese school of Zen founded in the 13th century by Emperor Trần Nhân Tông of the Trần Dynasty. Daily practices include early-morning seated meditation, sutra chanting, and *samu* (mindful manual labor).

**Serene Natural Environment:** Nestled amidst mountains and lush nature, the monastery offers a tranquil setting. With its crisp, clean air, it is an ideal place to escape the hustle and bustle of daily life and find inner peace.
