Doing site development engineering for a variety of land uses keeps it interesting and fun. Am currently working on two estate homes, a church, an office building, a retail site, a soil remediation site, a small apartment complex and a fraternity house. Some quick-serve restaurants and an auto parts store may be starting soon. And here's a geeky thrill that only a civil engineer can appreciate: This week I got an EPA permit for a storm water injection well in a protected wellhead zone in ONE DAY.
