It’s where every shift meal is shared, every debrief happens, and every story lands after a long call. It’s the centerpiece of the day room where brotherhood, sisterhood, and community come together.

Firefighters put everything on the line to serve our communities day in and day out. That’s why we believe the tables they gather around should be built with the same strength, resilience, and attention to detail.

At Oak City Customs, we are proud to build custom, heirloom-quality firehouse tables for fire departments across North Carolina. Every step of our process happens under one roof in Zebulon, NC:
🪵 Milled & Dried: Locally sourced hardwood, sawn on our mill and kiln-dried so your table stays flat for good.
🎨 Custom Crests & Inlays: Department patches, Maltese crosses, and thin red lines carved via CNC and inlaid with color-matched epoxy.
⚙️ In-House Steel Fabrication: Heavy-duty, welded steel trestles and pedestals built in our metal shop to withstand decades of daily use.
🎖️ Personalized Legacy: Engine/ladder lettering and brass name plaques to honor crew members past and present.

From tree to table, no handoffs, no shortcuts—just pure craftsmanship built to outlast every one of us who sits at it.

AVAILABLE NOW — BLUE RIVER MAPLE DINING TABLE

This one's ready to leave the shop. Heavily figured maple burl, milled and kiln-dried right here in Zebulon, with a deep blue epoxy river running the length of the top. The live edges stay exactly where the tree put them. Set on a blackened steel trapezoid base we fabricated in-house.

37” x 74” x 36” — seats 8 comfortably.

Every step happened under one roof: we milled the slabs, dried them to furniture-grade moisture content, poured the river, and built the base. That's how we know it's flat, stable, and built to outlast all of us.

One table. One of a kind. First come, first served.

Stopped by to visit with Dylan and ended up getting a tour of the operation. Great people, impressive equipment, incredible slab inventory, and a shop cat that's clearly in management.
