Agri-Inject, Inc

Agri-Inject, Inc 40+ Years as the worldwide leader in Fertigation and chemigation systems. Here at Agri-Inject, Inc. The rate of application can be regulated with precision.

Agri-Inject is the leader in quality chemigation and fluid application technology since 1983. we specialize in manufacturing chemical injection and fluid application solutions for agricultural, industrial, municipal and residential use. Our products and knowledge are used for a wide variety of water treatment and chemical application needs, including pH control, fertilizer and micronutrient applic

ation, pesticide application, growth regulators, soil conditioners, waste water and biological agents, among others. Our chemical injection systems offer a perfect addition for small and large-scale farming operations, nurseries, greenhouses, livestock confinement facilities, golf courses, and institutional and residential lawn and garden use. The word "chemigation" is a combination of the words "chemical" and "irrigation". Chemigation is most commonly described as the injection of agricultural chemicals into water flowing through an irrigation distribution system for application to land or crops or both. Chemigation has gained wide acceptance around the world as a highly successful crop production and turf management tool. Ag researchers, turf management professionals, homeowners and agricultural producers alike recognize that a properly designed and operated chemigation system can reduce input costs and increase productivity. Chemigation offers distinct advantages over conventional application methods. These advantages fall primarily into two categories - control and economics. Control: With chemigation, you have better control over where, when and how agricultural chemicals are applied. Chemicals may be applied at the exact time needed by plants to produce maximum results. Because larger volumes of water are applied compared to more traditional methods of application, coverage is more complete and uniform. Finally, the actual handling of chemicals is greatly reduced so operator exposure is minimized and the chance for spills is diminished. Application is more direct, reducing the potential for "spray drift." Exact calibration of metering pumps means there are no chemical "hot spots" to worry about, and calibration is accomplished at just one location, not at each row or nozzle. Economics: Chemigation enhances profitability by reducing input costs, lowering management time, and enhancing production. Because many chemicals are more effective when applied through chemigation, you may be able to dilute the chemical concentration while achieving the same results. And with the precise control a modern chemigation system offers, you can apply only the amount of chemical required to achieve the desired results. By letting the irrigation system do the work, you save on the costs of hiring a professional applicator. You also save on the time, labor, energy consumption and wear and tear on conventional application machinery. The one-time investment in an Agri-Inject system pays dividends every time you use it. Research and field studies have proven time after time that properly designed and operated chemigation systems contribute to significant yield increases while substantially reducing costs.

Nitrogen is one of the biggest factors in a crop's yield — and one of the easiest nutrients to lose.

Two common loss pathways:

1. Volatilization: nitrogen loss to the air
This risk increases when nitrogen sits on the surface in warm, dry conditions.

2. Leaching: nitrogen loss downward through the soil
This risk increases after heavy rain, over-irrigation, or in lighter/sandier soils.

One reason fertigation can improve nitrogen efficiency is timing:
✓ smaller applications
✓ closer to crop demand
✓ less nitrogen sitting unused in the soil

See how Agri-Inject's industry-leading fertigation equipment helps growers around the world reduce leaching and nitrogen loss, improve nutrient absorption, reduce input waste, and improve ROI year over year! Visit our website, or give us a call.

For golf course superintendents, efficiency is the difference between staying ahead of the season and constantly playing catch-up.

Even though course maintenance is year-round, most regions still run on a seasonal rhythm. And that makes winter the time to plan for the treatments you’ll need when play ramps up.

At Ballyneal Golf Club, Superintendent Jared Kalina and his team used the Agri-Inject ReflexEVOLUTION™ system to apply wetting agents through their existing irrigation system — improving uniformity and saving serious labor.

Firming up turf can create a hydrophobic situation in sandy soils underneath, making it harder for water to pe*****te effectively. Ballyneal needed a way to break that up with consistent coverage across the course — and with Agri-Inject, they’re able to apply treatments overnight without adding hours of manual work.

“We’re talking about hundreds of hours in the last two years being saved.”

Fertigation works best when it’s planned — not improvised mid-season.

February is the ideal time to map out a simple seasonal approach:

✓ Start with crop goals and expected yield targets
✓ Use soil tests as your baseline (don’t guess what’s already available)
✓ Split nutrients into smaller applications that match crop demand
✓ Align your fertigation plan with irrigation timing and field uniformity
✓ Keep a simple log of rates, timing, and conditions so you can adjust fast

Better timing usually means better uptake and less waste. And fertigation and chemigation add a cumulative impact by allowing growers to treat crops only when needed, save fertilizer from being wasted in early-season storms, and deliver product more directly to the root zone of plants.

If you haven't considered fertigation/chemigation yet, now is definitely the time, and 2026 is the year. Visit our website to learn more about how fertigation and chemigation improve your operation, or give us a call with questions about how to implement a fertigation plan into your 2026 season.

A 2024 case study in eastern Colorado found that growers using fertigation systems cut nitrogen costs by 18–25% per acre compared to dry or pre-plant application methods. These savings stem from reduced labor, minimized volatilization, and better timing.

With fertilizer prices remaining unpredictable, precision application is a cost-control strategy, not just a convenience.

Spring is when chemigation systems get exposed — not because the equipment is bad, but because small issues turn into big downtime once the season starts.

Before your first application, run through this quick checklist:

✓ Inspect the injection pump (seals, residue, stiffness, cracks)
✓ Confirm check valves + backflow prevention are clean and sealing properly
✓ Check filters/screens (restriction = inconsistent injection)
✓ Look for air leaks or seepage at fittings and connections
✓ Flush lines so old residue doesn’t become plugged later
✓ Calibrate early (don’t wait until the day you need to apply)

A clean, consistent system protects your timing, your product, and your results.
