Agri-Inject is the leader in quality chemigation and fluid application technology since 1983. we specialize in manufacturing chemical injection and fluid application solutions for agricultural, industrial, municipal and residential use. Our products and knowledge are used for a wide variety of water treatment and chemical application needs, including pH control, fertilizer and micronutrient applic
ation, pesticide application, growth regulators, soil conditioners, waste water and biological agents, among others. Our chemical injection systems offer a perfect addition for small and large-scale farming operations, nurseries, greenhouses, livestock confinement facilities, golf courses, and institutional and residential lawn and garden use. The word "chemigation" is a combination of the words "chemical" and "irrigation". Chemigation is most commonly described as the injection of agricultural chemicals into water flowing through an irrigation distribution system for application to land or crops or both. Chemigation has gained wide acceptance around the world as a highly successful crop production and turf management tool. Ag researchers, turf management professionals, homeowners and agricultural producers alike recognize that a properly designed and operated chemigation system can reduce input costs and increase productivity. Chemigation offers distinct advantages over conventional application methods. These advantages fall primarily into two categories - control and economics. Control: With chemigation, you have better control over where, when and how agricultural chemicals are applied. Chemicals may be applied at the exact time needed by plants to produce maximum results. Because larger volumes of water are applied compared to more traditional methods of application, coverage is more complete and uniform. Finally, the actual handling of chemicals is greatly reduced so operator exposure is minimized and the chance for spills is diminished. Application is more direct, reducing the potential for "spray drift." Exact calibration of metering pumps means there are no chemical "hot spots" to worry about, and calibration is accomplished at just one location, not at each row or nozzle. Economics: Chemigation enhances profitability by reducing input costs, lowering management time, and enhancing production. Because many chemicals are more effective when applied through chemigation, you may be able to dilute the chemical concentration while achieving the same results. And with the precise control a modern chemigation system offers, you can apply only the amount of chemical required to achieve the desired results. By letting the irrigation system do the work, you save on the costs of hiring a professional applicator. You also save on the time, labor, energy consumption and wear and tear on conventional application machinery. The one-time investment in an Agri-Inject system pays dividends every time you use it. Research and field studies have proven time after time that properly designed and operated chemigation systems contribute to significant yield increases while substantially reducing costs.
