Kia of Yuma is proud to highlight Jocentah Marie Miller! 🦋✨
Jocentah serves as Miss Cocopah 2024–2026. At 24, she is the 12th tribal member to hold the title since the program began in 1985.
A lifelong resident of the reservation and a Kofa High School alumna, Jocentah first entered the pageant to challenge her shyness and push through personal hardships. Today, she uses that same resilience to inspire others.
When she isn’t representing the “River People” at regional events, Jocentah is focused on her education and plans to attend Arizona Western College to become an ultrasound technician. During her two year reign, she is dedicated to building confidence in young girls, promoting tribal unity, and supporting important community health and wellness initiatives.
Kia of Yuma is honored to celebrate Jocentah’s accomplishments and be part of her journey as she continues to inspire and serve her community.
Join us in celebrating her leadership, dedication, and inspiring journey! 💙
💡 Fun fact: Jocentah’s crown features the Cocopah tribal seal decorated with blue glass beads. Her blue sash represents water and honors the Cocopah people’s identity as the “River People.”
