Over the last 3-4 months, our student driver has progressed from a novice to securing a podium finish at Sebring in the NASA TT3 class. To build on this momentum, we are shifting focus to significant vehicle upgrades and track preparation for Road Atlanta.

Our upcoming performance improvements include:

- Aero & Body: Anderson Composite front splitter and flared fenders.
- Powertrain: MSD Atomic ported intake and general intake upgrades.
- Handling & Grip: Rear sway bar upgrade, ZL1 wheels, and new Toyo slicks (325 wide fronts / 335 wide rears).

In addition to these mechanical changes, the driver is currently studying the technical requirements for the upcoming sessions at Road Atlanta.

Building a 2023 Camaro into a multi-use TT3 contender, especially for a student's daily school ride, requires a balance of reliability and performance. Based on our experience with recent championship-winning Camaro builds, here are the core track upgrades for this project.

Performance & Powertrain

- Engine: 690 hp LT1.
- Cooling: Mishimoto coolers and catch cans are essential for maintaining temperatures during track sessions.
- Exhaust: Borla full-flow exhaust system.

Chassis & Suspension

- Dampers: MCS struts and camber plates. (Note: We have also successfully used JRI suspension systems for TT2/TTU builds).
- Handling: New swaybars and end links from SPL.
- Brakes: Upgraded GM track brakes. For higher-tier builds, we often move to Brembo T/A 3 systems.

Safety & Aero

- Interior: 1/2 roll cage, OMP seat, and OMP belts.
- Aero: Reinforced front splitter. We can also look at a full ZL1 aero kit including a wing and dive planes.

Our race shop has years of experience in these transformations, and we provide a dedicated track coach to ensure driver development matches the car's capabilities.

I am writing to provide an update on our progress at the mid-season mark and to share our primary objectives for the remainder of the year. Our central goal for this season is to ensure our Twin Turbo car is consistently in contention for a podium finish.

To achieve this, we have been adhering to a rigorous development schedule at our race shop in Amelia, Florida, where we specialize in performance vehicles. Every two weeks, we have evaluated and improved all suspension details from the front to the rear of the vehicle. Additionally, the bodywork has been refined to significantly reduce drag, and the drivetrain has been adjusted to maximize our track times. These enhancements have been supported by extensive track testing to ensure peak performance.

We are confident that these technical improvements will translate into strong results on the track. I look forward to sharing further updates with you as the season progresses.

An update on the progress of our 18-year-old student driver. Throughout the season, he has performed exceptionally well with his daily driver, consistently finishing in the top three to four positions.

To further his competitive edge, we have upgraded his engine to 550 hp, and he is now competing in the Time Trials TT3 class. He is currently on schedule to place very well in the standings and will be heading to Sebring to compete in the National Championships. We are excited about his trajectory and look forward to seeing his performance at the upcoming event.

I am reaching out to share some information regarding our specialized 3-4 car double-deck haulers. Designed for a single man to load and using a versatile new component we have developed. While our 3,000 lb. rated winch was originally designed specifically for unloading the top deck, its unique features have proven it to be a highly effective primary winching tool.

A key element of this system is our multifunction mount design, which allows for quick installation across a variety of locations. Combined with a remote control hand unit, the winch can be easily moved between the front and rear of the trailer, as well as the upper and lower decks. Furthermore, the mounting system is versatile enough to be used on a shop floor to assist in pulling project cars into the bay for rebuilds.

Hi Brandon ,

I wanted to provide a detailed debrief on today’s session and the performance of the car. We started the morning with tire pressures set at 24 PSI, oil levels topped up, and both the coolant and fuel tanks at half capacity.

During the 8:45 AM warm-up, I completed five laps to bring the tires up to optimal temperature. At 9:40 AM , I focused on executing aggressive yet controlled laps. Based on the driving data, here are the key technical notes from the session:

- Turns 1 & 2: Braking at the 300' mark for Turn 1, hitting the apex, and creating a straight line to the Turn 2 apex. throttle brief full on brake at 150'
- Turn 3: Transitioned through the turn with no braking, maintaining 60% throttle and exiting hard on the gas.
- Turn 4: Braked at 150', took an early apex while following the inside curb, and exited left at full throttle.
- Turn 5: Braked at 150', diving the nose to rotate the car into the turn before exiting at full throttle.
- Turns 6 & 7: Braked at 150' for Turn 6, taking an early apex and following the inside line to hit the Turn 7 apex at 75% throttle.
- Turns 8 & 9: Hard on the throttle through Turn 8, then lifting to 60% into Turn 9 while following the inside curb at the apex before returning to full throttle.

Following these lines, I recorded a lap time of 1:13 and secured a 1st place finish. Please let me know if you need any further adjustments to the setup based on these results.
