This morning Jeff Stephens said, “let’s take Brutus and Rosie out for a ride” ( our E-bikes). As we got going I suggested we ride over to Sam Stephens shop. ( round trip 12 miles about an hour in total ride time)
When we arrived I saw one of his last fabrications and work projects. The SAYlove dump trailer needed new doors. Sam custom made these doors to fit the trailer. Soon to be painted SAYlove yellow and a locking handle added too.

How cool is this💪🏻. Sam Stephens fabricated a frame around the driver seat to push limbs away from the worker as He/she drives through an orchard. These branches are often called “widow makers” because they are dangerous and can throw the driver off and under a moving wheel.

An unexpected Job for Sam Stephens completed this 4th 🇺🇸 week. Our neighbor Peggi Cooney had this kit in her garage for over a year, when she mentioned it to me. I said, “ Well, Sam is coming up for the week I bet he wouldn’t mind a project.” All he requested was that we keep him company as he built.
Win win…Time with my kid, paying Job, friends project complete.

It turned out great. 💪🏻
