Freeman Boatworks friday. Very happy with how this job turned out. It was a challenge to say the least. All who helped I cannot thank enough. Tidewater Composites LLC did an excellent job of making a giant hole in the hardtop look completely factory. Charlton’s Marine Canvas for making one wild set of cushions and making another one of my wild ideas come to life. It was challenging to get the tower to flow with the existing structure without any ability to fabricate on the boat itself. Everything was painted in lieu of Powdercoat. Removable buggy top. Main structure unbolts and sits perfectly in the bow for easy transport. An intermediate harness/plug system was built for all electrical and rigging to allow simple dismantling and transport. Cannot wait to share sea trial and in water pics of this incredible boat!

New 28 Regulator Tower add on. Challenging to say the least. I’m adamant on staying away from powder coat with moving parts and tower builds. I am a huge fan of Alexseal Cor-spec metal primer.

Always love the collaboration efforts with Aquagrip CT and Charlton’s Marine Canvas who can help turn obstacles into a nice Factory touch. Outstanding Upholstery work and upper station helm Pad really set this job off.

After a couple years of “dad, how come we don’t have a tower and you make them”, I decided to recruit his help with a simple “flats tower”. Turned out way cooler than I thought. He was beyond excited to climb in it and see a school of drum within 10 minutes of getting it back in the water! So very thankful to have Charlton’s Marine Canvas amazing touch on it!

Still cannot believe the transformation this SeaHunt underwent. Really enjoyed doing this for a long time friend! Hull repairs, bottom paint removal, primed and painted the hull sides and recoated the bottom with VC epoxy. Did away with the Bimini top and built a new top. Built entirely around having a fully Charlton’s Marine Canvas rigid enclosure in mind. The front enclosure panel is recessed in a specially extruded anodized pipe to receive the canvas welt. Banded canvas top really set everything off. Cannot wait to stare at this Gem all summer from the beach!

Loved building off of this Pair Custom Console. There was a lot of collaboration with Charlton’s Marine Canvas on how exactly to maximize shade and protection from rain which is often sacrificed with most 1/2 and 3/4 towers. The complexity of the primary shade bar proved to be quite a challenge. Check out the small rigid macrolon panel that is tracked and sealed to the standing platform! With a set of strict measurements on height we were able to come in well under the requirements which mandate a structure to fold. Extremely comfortable and a ton of room for two big guys.
