Meet Paul Thomas, BAS Installation Technician III 👋🏻

⚡ A Family Legacy in Electrical Work
Paul followed in his father’s and grandfather’s footsteps in the electrical trades, starting an apprenticeship in Washington, D.C., right after high school. By 2017, he earned his journeyman electrician certification.

🤝 Finding His Place at Walton & Company
After moving back to Pennsylvania, Paul joined Walton & Company through a personal recommendation. Since day one, he’s felt right at home and part of the team. Today, he specializes in:

▪ Installing complex automation systems
▪ Testing and troubleshooting
▪ Keeping building systems running at peak performance

🕒 Off the Clock
When the tools are down, you’ll find Paul outside fishing, hunting or spending time with his family (even if that means a Peppa Pig marathon in the living room).

🛠️ Service Spotlight: Custom Machine Guarding
When hazardous pinch points appeared on a conveyor system at a local snack manufacturing facility, our team stepped in to design, fabricate and install custom guards that move with the line.

🔍 Captured in Real Time
Using a FARO Insight 3D scanner, we mapped the running conveyor, capturing millions of data points with millimeter accuracy.

📐 Custom Designed
The scan data went into CAD software to create guards that fit around dozens of components—including conveyor sections that lift up to 45 degrees!

🏭 Built in Our Shop
Guards were fabricated from aluminum for durability and easy cleaning. Each had to fit in tight spaces without blocking access, keeping workers safe while allowing operators to run and maintain the line.

✅ Safer Operation
The final solution eliminates hazards, meets OSHA requirements and keeps production moving. At Walton & Company, we don’t do one-size-fits-all, we build solutions that actually fit the job.

In partnership with Dennis Group, Walton & Company is providing plumbing services for a 230,000-square-foot renovation of an existing food processing facility recently acquired by Taylor Farms. The facility is being transformed into a modern, FDA-compliant operation with hygienic design considerations in mind.

Our services include:
🔷Below ground: Installing sanitary piping to prevent standing water and reduce the risk of contamination

🔷 Above ground: Installing water, waste and process piping systems to meet FDA and food-grade standards

The project is on track for completion by the end of June.

At Walton & Company, safety isn’t something we talk about from a distance; it’s part of the work we do. 🚧

Members of our Safety team are regularly in the field, visiting job sites, talking with crews and observing how work is being done in real time. They look at equipment, conditions and day-to-day practices to help keep safety front and center. Because at the end of the day, safety is everyone’s responsibility and we take that seriously.
