Great people helping other great people! Grateful to see everyone come together Make things happen!
✨ STORYTIME: The Part I Haven’t Shared Yet ✨
There’s a special part of this Giving Tuesday story I haven’t shared — and it’s the piece that’s been heavy in my heart all day.
This summer, a local small-business owner, Miles from Dynamic Cable & Security, installed our security cameras at the store.
He also mounts TVs - so we asked if he’d take care of ours at home that had been sitting on our floor since we moved in 2 years ago 🫣
He agreed in exchange for a simple shout-out on our page.
We planned to post it once a few furniture pieces arrived…and, like life does, things got delayed and it’s taken way longer than expected for everything to come together.
Then last week, Miles messaged me out of the blue:
“Drew… instead of using my shout-out for my business, I’d rather use it to share the story of a boy named Grant. He lost his best friend & service dog in September and his amazing family is raising money for a new service dog.”
It was a small moment — but it changed everything.
That message is the reason we built our entire Giving Tuesday campaign around helping Grant’s family 🐾❤️
One quiet choice on his part opened the door for something meaningful on ours.
And today, because of you — this community — over $1,000 has already been raised 🙌🏼
Grant is now only about $1,500 away from receiving a service dog that will truly change his life.
What I keep thinking about is how it all started:
a camera install, a TV mount, a message sent at exactly the right time…
and somehow that tiny spark turned into a ripple big enough for all of us to be part of something that matters.
This is what small business is supposed to be.
This is what community is supposed to be.
People choosing people, simply because they can.
If you feel it on your heart to help Grant reach the finish line, the link is below 🖤
Miles was offered a shout-out for his business — and he handed it to a family who needed hope more.
That’s the kind of good you rarely see, but never forget — and look how good that TV looks 🖤 you know who to call!
