At 27, Marla Meza is already leaving a visible mark on the Yakima Valley, in the form of roads, sidewalks and infrastructure projects people travel and see every day.

We’re wrapping up an eventful and unforgettable Engineers Week at HLA!

To celebrate, we hosted our very own Over-Engineered Olympics and yes, it was as competitive as it sounds.

From the opening ceremony flag competition, to a tower building challenge, an intense curling showdown, and finally a candy jar volume estimation, because what’s Engineers Week without a little calculated guesswork?

There was fierce competition, plenty of laughs, and just the right amount of overthinking. A perfect week at HLA!
