AMERICAN STEAM, INC. TO THE RESCUE
         
AdventHealth Porter, the southeast Denver hospital, shut down Monday, October 30, 2023, after a boiler system failure.
 
The hospital lost heat and hot water due to the failure, and patients were evacuated to other medical facilities with staff to support patients as needed.
 
American Steam Incorporated was contacted. “Our engineers and technical crew worked 24/7 to prepare one of our rental boilers for emergency dispatch from our Wylie facility in Texas.
Our top engineers flew to Denver to start our boiler,” said John Moses, President, American Steam, Inc.
 
Fortunately, the emergency replacement boiler from American Steam, Inc. arrived from Texas, as scheduled on Wednesday, November 1, 2023, at 4:00 a.m. and the installation process began.
 
As of November 3, 2023, the hospital has heat, hot water, steam, and sterilization necessary for its operations.
 
“We are very proud to serve our community and help in these critical emergencies,” added John Moses.
