We are currently looking for highly motivated individuals to start working immediately. Assembly of equipment using basic hand and power tools as well as test and calibrate components. Must be able to lift 50 lbs. HS diploma or equivalent and ability to follow written and verbal instructions required. The assembler will be responsible for the complete assembly of wire cables and some electro-mechanical assembling. Need to be independent, and able to get directions from prints and wire run lists. Includes the ability to strip, crimp, label and connect wire cables from kits to completion in accordance with customer specifications. We can provide training. Full time position available.
Requirements:
• Ability to read and build from prints.
• Complete complex cabinets, control panels, & other electro-mechanical assemblies.
• Build connector assemblies using precision and calibrated hand tools (e.g. wire st*****rs, crimpers, torque wrenches, soldering irons, heat guns, etc.), properly securing assemblies using lacing spot ties, & cable clamps, and properly protecting assemblies with nylon tape, Expando sleeving, and/or shrink tubing.
• Prepare and precisely apply adhesives, conformal coat, and RTV to assemblies
• Use judgment in re-working or re-wiring to bring unit within quality control specifications
• Performs electro-mechanical assembly, disassembly and rework some test and repair of various electronic products and mechanical assemblies
• Able to adapt to a constantly changing, fast-paced work environment
• Able to work with minimal supervision and may provide guidance to other technicians
• Interpret and follow written documents such as ISO procedures, Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s), and safety rules
• Able to work overtime and weekends as needed
• Comply with all safety and regulatory requirements applicable to the company in accordance with State and Federal regulations and any applicable certification; required to maintain the certification
• Support, communicate, reinforce and defend the mission, values and culture of the organization
