It has been another fun Christmas Spirit week here at Tricor! From tropical attire to flannels and fun Christmas sweaters we are certainly getting in the Christmas spirit!

🌟🌟🌟Meet the Sales Team 🌟🌟🌟

Matt Roscoe, Senior Account Manager, Mill Product Sales/Service Center

Matt started at Tricor in 2015 after spending several years in the industrial fabrics industry. While his background was not in the Metals industry, he wasted no time jumping into his role in our Service Center and eventually took on several key accounts, building stronger relationships with them than ever. He is our go-to for plate-frame heat exchangers and has developed a technical understanding of some fabricated products, which gives him the ability to troubleshoot with customers to better support their material needs.

Out of the office, Matt is an avid sports fan who has his heart regularly broken by the Cleveland Browns and is given just enough hope to continue being a Cleveland Guardians fan. Though he will tell you he felt his soul being ripped from his body when he went to game 7 of the 2016 World Series and witnessed The Tribe lose to the Chicago Cubs in extra innings - what a heartbreaker! Matt is a lover of pizza and most IPA's and enjoys trying new breweries wherever he travels.

Though he doesn't often show it on the surface, he is a family man at heart and his biggest passion in life is his wife Abby, four children and dog Baker (yes, he is named after former Browns QB Baker Mayfield - thank goodness Deshaun wasn't around when he got his dog!) A little birdie told us there's also a first grandbaby on its way! 😉

🌟🌟🌟Meet the Sales Team🌟🌟🌟

Marc Cook, Tantalum Equipment Product Specialist, Engineered Products

Marc retired from Dow after 27 years of service. At Dow he served as a subject matter expert for tantalum, glass-lined steel, fluoroplastics, and refractory. He’s been with Tricor for 1.5 years now, offering technical support to customers and serving as the company’s metallurgist.

With Marc’s many years working in a plant environment, and degrees in both Chemical Engineering and Materials Science and Engineering, he “speaks the same language” as our customers, and can often help customers with reliability challenges, troubleshoot failures and recommend design improvements. He is also heavily involved in the Materials Technology Institute for Tricor, co-hosting the MTI Corrosion Chronicles podcast (Corrosion Chronicles Podcast - MTI Global), among other activities. He enjoys working with and mentoring early-career engineers, which makes him a great fit for his current job role.

Marc works remotely for Tricor from the country of Panama. He lives in the Coclé Province with his wife of 30 years, enjoying an active lifestyle in the tropical climate and trying to gain some fluency in Spanish.

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Tricor’s President, Michael Stitzlein.

Since 1989, Mike has been the face of Tricor, guiding our company through many years of growth and to what it is today. He guided with a commitment to his employees, always keeping their best interests at the forefront of every decision that was made.

Mike will be deeply missed by his colleagues, business partners, and friends whom he has made all across the world. Our team at Tricor will miss him deeply, but we are honored to have been led by him for so many years.

It is with a sorrowful heart that our family announces the passing of Michael David Stitzlein, 72, beloved brother, husband, father, grandfather and friend. He passed on Saturday, August 23, 2025, at Aultman Hospital in Canton after a long battle with Idiopathic lung disease. Michael never smoked.

Kyle Piercefield, Gulf Coast Market Manager, Engineered Products

Born and raised in Big Spring, TX, Kyle has excelled in his high school and college years through football and education. Kyle graduated as a Who’s Who member and did so in the top 5% of his graduating class. He holds an Associate’s degree in Pre-Engineering from Cisco Jr College and a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Manufacturing Engineering Technology w/ a minor in Business from Tarleton State University. Where he excelled in the classroom, he equally excelled on the football field as a four-year starter as a Long Snapper at both Cisco and Tarleton. He also spent seven years as a personal trainer in Houston, helping others find the path toward fitness success.

Kyle’s career has spanned several industries, and before coming to Tricor, he spent six years in sales of Lumber and Construction materials as well as Utility Hydrovac Excavation. At Tricor, Kyle has honed in on his excellence as he has navigated the world of chemical processing and other industries where corrosion is a sneaky pest. From the start of his time at Tricor, Kyle seamlessly moved into his role in the Gulf Coast and quickly built relationships with current customers, re-introduced Tricor to former customers and successfully brought new customers who Tricor has been able to offer corrosion solutions.

Whether through his football years in High School and College where he excelled, being honored to receive many accolades for his performance on and off the field or to his current role as father to five (5) and partner to the love of his life, Kyle keeps Faith, Family and Fitness as the foundation of everything he does. His time away from work is spent doing a strength-building workout, spending time with family, or attending services and events at Woodlands Church.

🌟🌟🌟James Leiner, Market Manager, Engineered Products🌟🌟🌟

Jim began his time at Tricor in 2024, bringing with him over 40 years of experience working for fabrication companies, steel mills and metal distributors. With a diverse background working in different levels within the metal industry, Jim has done a tremendous job in our business development group, identifying key areas of focus and helping customers find solutions to their corrosion problems. In the short time he has been with Tricor, Jim has proven himself time and time again to be a success story and we are honored he chose Tricor to continue his career.

Away from the grindstone, Jim spends his time with family and friends. He enjoys watching football and hockey, playing a game of golf, going on day trips with his wife and morning walks with his dogs. Jim is passionate about football, trying new and enjoying classic bourbons and his dogs. His number one passion is his family and he will be moving to Indiana this summer to be closer to his kids.

Jenel Mcnaughtan, Product & Sales Manager, Tricor Alloys

Jenel’s career has spanned many years in the aerospace industry, including working in semiconductors and aerospace fasteners. She brought her expertise to Tricor in 2014 where she was tasked to build and continuously grow our aerospace mill products division, beginning essentially from scratch. During her time at Tricor she has spent countless hours targeting key components to support Tricor’s aerospace clientele, including building a robust inventory of bar, sheet, plate and intermediate stock for forgings. She has consistently availed herself to the rest of our sales staff to help educate them on all things aerospace, especially interpreting the many specifications that often apply.

Residing in the Palm Springs area of California, Jenel is the face of Tricor’s West Coast operations. While it often seems as if she is working all hours of the day, she mostly enjoys spending time with her husband Charles, working out and reading a good book. If you’ve ever been on a Zoom call with her, you will also know she is a lover of all animals and her furry companions are often seen partaking in video calls with her.

Tra Bratton, Project Manager, Engineered Products

Before starting at Tricor in 2022, Tra spent 5 years as a distribution lineman and 11 years on an offshore rig where he had roles spanning from crane operator and deck supervisor. Tra’s industrial background allowed him to ease seamlessly into his project management role, working with companies in the southern United States and more. Tra has become an integral part of our project management team as he has developed a strong understanding of the ins-and-outs and all the quirky nuances that come with managing large-scale fabrications. His customers rave about the professionalism he exerts, and any colleague will tell you the respect he shows to everyone is second-to-none.

Tra is an avid outdoorsman and spends as much time doing the outdoor hobbies he loves most, especially freshwater fishing for Bass and Crappie. He is a skilled woodworker and is proud to display some of his work to his family and friends, and just about anybody else he can show it off to. Unlike his fellow Texas coworkers who are die-hard Texas or Texas A&M fans, Tra can be found cheering for all the Razorback teams coming out of The University of Arkansas. Most importantly, Tra is a devoted husband, father of five and grandfather of three.

Tra is a veteran who fought for the United States during Operation Iraqi Freedom and we are eternally thankful for the sacrifices he made.
