In 2020 we did not have our usual company Christmas party. However, we did team with TJ's Trio of Restaurants to provide gift certificates for our staff for a meal for four from a great local restaurant. The certificate is good for brisket on Tuesdays, wings and fries on Wednesday, pizza/pasta on Thursday, salmon or walleye on Friday, or prime rib on Saturday. Staff members can decide what evening they want to use the gift card any time in December. It is a good idea if you are considering how to deal with 2020.

EA is seeking a Professional Surveyor/Survey Operations Manager to supplement our existing staff. This candidate will be responsible for the management of all surveying operations. This includes daily supervision and management of one to three survey crews, review and processing field data, surveying and right of way proposals, preparation and review of ODOT and other project right of way plans and survey plats, easements and legal descriptions, preparation of construction computations and construction staking files, ALTA surveys, courthouse research, conduct topographic and boundary surveys, etc. You will collaborate with our design staff to determine the specific survey needs for each project. The qualified candidate will be familiar with conventional total stations, robotic and reflectorless instruments, and GPS equipment and will be responsible for the management of the maintenance of this equipment and the data they provide. This position is full-time and mainly an office position with occasional same day field time and/or travel.

Job Requirements:
• Ohio Professional Surveyor License.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in this field.
• Computer Skills: MicroStation and AutoCAD, Microsoft Office Suite

Preferred Attributes:
• Experience managing survey field crews.
• ODOT Complex Right of Way prequalification or ability to obtain within 1 year.
• MicroStation/Geopak and AutoCAD/ Civil 3D

EA is proud to be working with New Waterford and OEPA on the first H2Ohio drinking water infrastructure project announced by Ohio EPA.

NEW WATERFORD — Under Gov. Mike DeWine’s H2Ohio plan, state EPA Director Laurie Stevenson on Friday announced a $500,000 grant to New Waterford for an infra
