Laif Lindsay, owner of Lindsay Metal Madness, is well qualified to work with you and your company on any metal project. Laif received his Mechanical Engineering degree from University of Wisconsin – Platteville and gained a passion for metal fabrication while working summers at Marengo Steel. Laif went on to work at Caterpillar as a welder, manufacturing planner, and an operations supervisor. Here

he was involved with every stage of the process from laser cutting and forming, to heavy plate welding, and finally management. Metals Laif learned that there is more to welding than just welding. Here he learned new welding skills (welding aluminum, stainless steel, titanium, and more), how to run other manufacturing equipment, and basic blacksmithing skills. Laif was also a welding instructor at McHenry County College teaching stick, MIG, and TIG skills.
