In observance of International Women in Engineering Day, we invited our women in engineering to write a letter to their younger selves. Keep checking back as we'll be sharing more throughout the day!

"Right now, you’re working hard on yourself: loving math and science, playing tennis, reading novels, dreaming about space, and feeling inspired by Dad’s work in engineering.
Trust the time and effort you’re putting into everything. All the hard work you are putting in right now is shaping you into an incredibly capable, strong, and independent woman. You will be courageous enough to be the first person in our family to come abroad and build a life here.
But as much as you achieve, what I love most is that you don’t lose yourself along the way, either. I still play tennis, paint, and read while working as an engineer. You are still passionate, always eager to learn, and constantly growing.
Be proud and confident of who you are right now."
