Every year on June 23rd, INWED celebrates the outstanding achievements of women engineers around the world. Now in its 13th year, this global movement brought to us by the Women’s Engineering Society plays a vital role in raising the profile of women in the field and encouraging the next generation of girls to pursue careers in STEM.

While women are still under-represented in the field, days like today are vital for raising awareness and showing young girls that an exciting future in engineering is absolutely within their reach.
