WE ARE HIRING!!!

Looking for a Laboratory Technician to work for a Geo-tech Engineering Firm in Woodridge, IL.
Position: Entry Level (40 hrs. a week)

What we are looking for:
1. Good verbal and written communication skills; Well organized and paying attention to detail.
2. The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
3. Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 40 pounds
4. Valid driver's license.
5. An interest in laboratory testing, construction and the Geo-sciences.
6. Prior experience performing routine Geo-technical laboratory soils testing is a plus but is not required.
What you will be doing:
1. Executing concrete, asphalt, and soil tests in our certified lab under the supervision of our engineering staff
2. Following documented procedures to record lab test results and report accurately.
3. Documenting testing process and results, explaining as needed.

KUDOS TO OUR KALGEn TEAM FOR SUCCESSFULLY COMPLETING THE LARGEST DECK POUR ON I-294 OVER I-55 BRIDGE. WE WERE PART OF THE TEAM IN PLACING 1810 CY OF CONCRTE PLACED IN ONE SINGLE CONTINUOUS POUR. THANK YOU EVERYONE FOR THE TEAM WORK AND HARD WORK.

First new 'L' Station in 20 years is now open to the public. Considering the challenges involved in performing the construction on a busy street while keeping the trains running, it is a remarkable achievement for everyone who worked on this $75 million project. Congratulations to all the KALites on this occasion. Wave hello to the striking station when you get a chance!
