DK FAB was started in 1999 by Dan Kirsch as a mobile welding and steel fabrication shop in Woodburn, Oregon. In 2006 we took over for Paul Serres of Back Acre Hop Farms as a supplier of hop picking machine & component parts. Dan always had an interest in the hop farm and spent several summers working for his Uncle Paul among the hops. His real interest was in the processing equipment and still fue

ls his passion for developing equipment that he believes can always perform better. Our home is still in Woodburn and in 2015 we opened a second location in Zillah, Washington. We continue to meet the needs of the growing hop industry as well as solving the processing and conveying needs of various industries. Services: We provide project management, design-build processing equipment, replacement parts for many industries, and full CAD services.

As some of you may have already heard we had a fire that destroyed our Washington shop. We are grateful that no one was hurt. Right now we don't know the entire extent of the loss, or the cause. We appreciate any thoughts and prayers for us and our employees as we pick up the pieces and get everyone back to a new normal.

Scenic Valley Farms began picking hops today. A huge thank you to our employees this season who have gone above and beyond, also to Scenic Valley for having faith in us to install an entire facility, cutting to baling and everything in between.
