Earth Retention provided the design for this 5,000 square foot Stone Strong wall for the Richard Montgomery Elementary School located in Montgomery County, MD. A big block system was chosen as there was existing site constraints due to the LOD (Limit of Disturbance) which wouldn’t allow for a typical geogrid reinforced wall system. Roche Bros., out of Frederick, MD was the wall contractor.
