Behind the Mix: From Plant to Truck

Before a Kienstra Ready Mix truck heads to the jobsite, each load starts at the plant.

At Kienstra Ready Mix Collinsville, materials are measured and batched according to the specifications for each order, then loaded into the mixer truck and prepared for delivery.

It’s an important part of the process that helps provide consistency from one load to the next—and keeps ready mix moving from our plant to projects throughout the Metro East.

Celebrating 20 years of Kienstra, IL!

Our Kienstra, IL team and their families recently came together for our annual family picnic—and this year gave us an extra reason to celebrate: 20 years of serving communities throughout the Metro East.

It was a great day to step away from the plants and jobsites, enjoy some good food, spend time with family and coworkers, and recognize the people who have helped make the past 20 years possible.

Thank you to our employees, their families, our customers, and everyone who has been part of the Kienstra, IL story.
