We were also proud to welcome Buffalo County Sheriff Michael Osmond and K9 trainer Trace Erickson of Code Blue K9 LLC.

Our entire team had the chance to gather, meet the officers, and show our appreciation in return.

Each officer shared more about their journey, their experience in the Code Blue K9 program, and what this work means to them and the communities they serve. It was especially meaningful to hear about each dog’s personality—on duty and at home—but one thing was consistent across the board: these teams are deeply committed to keeping people safe.

They also presented Steve and Jane with their official K9 team portraits and personal letters, which meant more than we can put into words.

OZ is proud to support these officers, their K9 partners, and the work they do every day.
