Meet Mr. Deryle Shipman — President and Head of Sales
In 1980, Deryle Shipman started Shipman Building Services with a vision, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to doing things the right way. Through decades of hard work, dedication, and leadership, he built a successful company and a reputation that continues to carry forward today.
In 2024, Deryle sold the company to The R Group II, marking an exciting new chapter in the company’s history. He continues to serve as President and Head of Sales, bringing his experience, knowledge, and passion for the business to the team every day.
What sets Deryle apart is not just what he has accomplished, but his commitment to what comes next. He believes that successful leadership means never stopping learning, continually working to improve himself, and investing in the people around him. He remains dedicated to becoming a better leader, strengthening his team, and helping those he leads grow and succeed.
Building a successful company takes years of hard work, but building a strong team and developing the next generation of leaders is an ongoing commitment.
We’re proud of the foundation Deryle built, grateful for the leadership he continues to provide, and excited about what the future holds.
When he’s not working, you can catch Deryle coaching on a ball field or spending time wherever he can with his seven grandkids.
