Freshly delivered HD flow racks, ready to support a production line changeup.

These racks will help the team pilot a new line layout and fine-tune material flow before the changes are fully in place. Mobile, practical, and built for the needs of the production floor.

Need a better way to present parts at your line? Let’s talk.

DON’T FIND ME A DOLLAR. FIND ME 100 PENNIES INSTEAD.

In manufacturing, everyone loves the idea of finding that one big improvement that saves a fortune.

But real process improvement usually doesn’t happen that way.

It happens one small improvement at a time.

A few less steps for an operator.
Parts presented a little better.
Less reaching and bending.
A quicker changeover.
Less floor space.
Better material flow.
A cart that can be reconfigured instead of replaced.

Individually, each improvement might seem small.

But find enough of those “pennies,” and suddenly you’ve created some serious savings.

That’s the philosophy behind what we do at Mashak Engineering Solutions.

We don’t just build carts, flow racks, and workstations. We look for opportunities to make the entire process a little better.

Because 100 small improvements can be worth a whole lot more than waiting around for one big one.

When standard material handling solutions just aren’t enough, we build something that is.

This custom gravity flow rack was designed and built by Mashak Engineering Solutions to provide high-density parts storage while keeping material organized, accessible, and moving efficiently to the point of use.

With multiple levels of gravity-fed lanes and a mobile design, this system helps:
🔹 Improve parts presentation
🔹 Maximize available floor space
🔹 Support FIFO material flow
🔹 Reduce unnecessary material handling
🔹 Keep production organized and efficient

At MES, we don’t believe your process should have to adapt to an off-the-shelf rack. We design the rack around your process.
From a simple parts cart to a system this size, if you have a material-flow problem, we can engineer a solution.

Most carts look good on Day 1.
Ours still perform on Year 10.

We design modular carts and workstations that don’t just solve today’s problem—they adapt with you.

When your process changes (and it will), you shouldn’t need to start over.
Adjust. Reconfigure. Keep moving.

That’s the difference between a purchase… and an investment.

If your current setup is wearing out, slowing you down, or locking you in—let’s fix that.

How much does downtime really cost your operation?

It’s not just the big breakdowns…
It’s the small inefficiencies that add up every single day:

• Walking for parts
• Can’t find the right tools
• Workstations that don’t match the process

That’s where we come in.

We design modular carts and workstations that fit your operation—not the other way around.

And when your process changes?
No problem.

Reconfigure. Adjust. Keep moving.

No tearing everything out.
No starting from scratch.
No unnecessary downtime.

Less downtime. More productivity.

👉 What’s the biggest inefficiency in your operation right now?

Not all carts are built the same.
We talk to companies all the time who are replacing carts every 2–3 years—bent frames, worn-out shelves, designs that no longer fit their process.

Meanwhile, we have carts and workstations still in daily use after nearly 10 years… and they’re still going strong.

Why?

Because they weren’t built for a single moment in time—they were built to adapt.
When your production changes, your equipment should change with it. Not end up in the scrap pile.

Build it once. Adjust it as needed. Keep it working for years.

That’s the difference.

Still running production on outdated welded carts with plywood shelves?

There’s a better way.

Our modular carts and workstations are built to evolve with your operation — not hold it back. Whether your line changes once a year or once a month, our systems reconfigure quickly and cost-effectively… no cutting, welding, or starting over.

💡 Real talk: We’ve got carts in the field pushing 10 years of daily use that are still going strong — just reconfigured as needs changed.

That means:
✔ Less downtime
✔ Lower long-term cost
✔ Equipment that actually keeps up with you

Stop rebuilding. Start adapting.

If your current setup is slowing you down, it’s time to rethink it.

A lot of the production floors we walk into look something like out of the 80's before we get involved:

Heavy welded steel carts
Plywood shelves that wear out over time
Fixed layouts that are hard to change

They get the job done… until production needs change.

Then it turns into:

- Workarounds
- Extra movement
- Slower changeovers

Here’s a recent example of where we helped move a setup in a different direction.

Instead of replacing carts every time something changes, these are built to be reconfigured — whether it’s different product runs, layout changes, or workflow improvements.

We also swap out materials like plywood for HDPE or ABS, which hold up better long-term and keep things cleaner and more consistent.

We actually have carts and workstations still in service after nearly 10 years that are holding up just as well as when they were first put into use.

The goal isn’t just a better-looking cart — it’s a setup that actually supports how your operation evolves.

Curious — what are most of you currently using on your floor? Welded carts, modular setups, or something else?

04/06/2026

One of the most common issues we see on production floors isn’t labor…

…it’s inflexibility.

A line gets set up for one job, and a few months later everything changes — but the workstations don’t.

Now you’ve got:

- Extra walking
- Slower changeovers
- People working around the setup instead of with it

We recently worked with a customer who was dealing with exactly that. Their layout kept changing, but their equipment couldn’t keep up.

So we helped them switch to a modular cart system that can be reconfigured as their production evolves — instead of replacing equipment every time things shift.

The result:
- Faster adjustments
- Less wasted movement
- More efficient workflow

If your operation is constantly adapting, your equipment should be too.

Curious — how often does your production setup change?
