Municipal Equipment, Inc. Acquires Link Environmental Equipment

Link Environmental, a second generation waste and recycling industry leader, was acquired by Municipal Equipment, Inc. (MEI) on January 1, 2024. This strategic move marks a significant in step to strengthen and reinforce both business’ ongoing commitment to providing top quality refuse equipment and superior customer support. The acquisition, confirmed January 1, 2024, combines Link Environmental’s experience and expertise with MEI’s multi-state presence and brand strength to establish a powerful partner for businesses in the territories they serve. “We are excited to welcome Link Evironmental to the MEI family,” declared MEI President Mark Clindaniel. “Their skilled staff will compliment our team, and position the company for future growth.” Don Link added. “We’ve known and worked with Mark over the years, and have always admired MEI’s dedication to selling only the highest quality products in the industry. Don Link will continue to serve as General Manager, with John Wheeler as Parts Manager, Angie Thompson as Office Manager, and industry icon Mary Sue Link. Municipal Equipment Inc.
