Controlling the flow of a granular solid just got easier with the CentriFeeder MCV from Eastern Instruments. This modular feeder can be installed under a hopper, tank, silo, or any storage container. Quickly connect the inlet spout to the bottom of your storage container and you are ready to go. The electronics package lets you open the control valve manually or under PID control to maintain a flow rate setpoint. And, it is all powered by VAC power, just plug it in to an outlet and you are ready to go!

When measuring the flow of air in a duct, did you know that temperature and barometric pressure changes can affect the mass flow calculation if you don't measure them also??
